Bookmark certain objects in a sheet

I am trying to bookmark certain objects in a sheet,

for example if I have location and product, I'd like to bookmark my location selection only and not the product.

Is there a way to do this?

Hi Karim,

if I understand correctly, you just need to make your selection, then add bookmark - and it will
book-mark only the selection you have chosen.

I'm not sure what you mean by bookmark certain objects though. You can have objects visible and make your selections choosing to bookmark the layout as well.

Hi Matt, I actually don't want to bookmark all my selections.

I just need to bookmark selections in certain fields and not across all the fields.

So if I have a location field and a product field, I only want to bookmark the location selection before leaving the sheet and disregard any selections for the product. That way if I apply the bookmark at any time, I'll get what i previously had as a location and no selections fro product.

Yeah I think it does make sense now.

I'm not sure if that is possible 'out-of'-the-box'

You could certainly write a macro and assign it to a button to do something similar. How you actually do that is not something I am familiar with, i'm afraid.

Hi,

Bookmarking is capturing the snapshot based on certain selections, but after saving a bookmark u can't have the same selections being retained.  It keeps changing once u make other selections.

Other option to do is Lock the selections.... it can be applied at individual selection boxes.
