Hi Community,
We have users complaining of bookmarks missing and again seem to appear back on re-login.
Have anybody faced this and has a solution for this?
thanks,
Rajesh Vaswani

To add to this, these are User Created Bookmarks only.

Any progress on this? I've been informed by our end-users that we are facing this similar issue in at least one application: Some of the bookmarks are not available at the pane when document is opened. They come back at a later try.
Only thing maybe worth mentioning so far, is that the document where this has been reported has the largest .shared -file. Closing up to 30MB, having 200+ user bookmarks. Starting to think that maybe for some reason that file is not loaded then completely every time..
Hi Jani,
For now we are recreating a new shared file manually to address this. We have not been able to find a root cause yet. You could be right on the file size. We too have this where the .shared file is a big one.
thanks,
Rajesh Vaswani
Hi Jani,
Were you able to find any solution to this issue?

Hi Rajesh,
Is your document set to Preload? If so, try to disable the Preload option and let me know if that helps?
Cheers
Elly
After a lot of testing, we found two clear issues that were/are causing some visibility issues with bookmarks:
1) If it's a shared bookmark, the sharing needs to be done with Domain\UserID. It let's you do it with just UserID, and it even works WHEN the bookmark creator has been active on the report recently ( as long as the document remains in server memory after the owner has been online). However, shared bookmark is not visible to users if the owner has not been at the document lately.
2) If running IE Plug-in, and opening several reports in different tabs. You can actually get the bookmarks mixed between the documents, so ie. document1 shared pane is showing shared bookmarks from document3. This is a known bug in Support.
Hi Jani,
We saw the issue you described on point no.2 as well. Do you know if there is a patch for it?
