Button with pass word enter to access certain page

Hi All

I have a sheet which is important information only access by top mgt people , and when user click the button , it will ask for pass word . may i know how to do it ?

Extactly. It is because I guessed you use an unprotected expression.

It is a common security problem

I could also have typed somthing like '1=1 OR dkfjg'

So the expression would have become 1=1 OR dkfjg=12345 which is always true

Here if you just supress the possibility to enter expression by removing the $ sign, it is OK.

There are other ways to deal with this kind of things in general (not just in QV)

search Google for SQL injection if you are interested in this kind of security mesures

Indeed, I am using v11.20. I never used v9 so I cant help with that..
