Calculated expression in pivot doesn't give me totals

I have created a pivot table with detail, ref as the lowest level. The problem is that my 'Price' field is a calculated expression which multiplies price % * Adjusted base. When I show detail in the pivot, the amount shows but no total. when i go a level up nothing shows. How can I show the total for calculated expression so even when I click on 2360 only and hide ref column, my detail will stay in place?

Thanks

Ok, explain to me in words how you should calculate

If you had to do it with a calculator, which ones would be the steps?

Ok for price column is calculated by taking Price % * adjusted base. but why do I not see the total at the bottom same as adjusted base. It's pivot table so something is causing it not to calculate the total. hope this helps

Can you see the attached. I tried your expression but no go. I have a column 'Total Price' which calculates correctly but I don't get the total so if I collapse the 'ref' column I see no totals.

Thanks

Hello -

Very close yes and would work but now I need to add additional dimensions before product line like in my first tab and once I do that, everything disappears. I would like to move Group before prod line and also add other dimensions before that. What do I need to change to make it work?

Hi,

It is simply solved by multiplication.

See the image below.

HI -

That is not the correct sum though. If I do the sum on %, I will add up the % which is not accurate.

Thanks
