Calculating periods of sickness

I am pretty new to Qlikview and am working on a People Dashboard.

I need some help in calculating the number of days sickness taken by employees

Data Example:

Fullname	Event	Event Date	DayCounter
Emp 1	sickness	01/01/2013	1
Emp 2	sickness	01/01/2013	1
Emp 3	sickness	01/01/2013	1
Emp 1	sickness	02/01/2013	2
Emp 2	sickness	02/01/2013	2
Emp 3	sickness	02/01/2013	2
Emp 4	sickness	03/01/2013	1
Emp1	sickness	03/01/2013	3

This needs to calculate consecutive days of sickness including when off on Friday and the following Monday etc.

If anyone could shed some light it would be greatly appreciated.
