Dear All,
I am facing an issue in calculation of opening and closing based on weighted average. Scenario is as follows:
Suppose I have Opening Value Rs 5000 with Qty 30
Now we receive 20 Qty
and amount of this Rs 3000
now total qty is 30+20=50
and value of this=5000+3000=Rs. 8000
and Value Per Qty=8000/50=160
now Issue Qty is 15
and value to this issued qty must be as follows
=Issue Qty*Value Per Qty
=15*160
=2400
and after this closing balance for the month will be
Closing Qty=Opening Qty+Receive Qty-IssueQty
Closing Qty =30+20-15=35
and
closing value
=Weighted Amount-Amount of Issued Qty
=8000-2400=5600
above mentioned calculation is for April month and i have to make calculation similarly for all months.
Please help me if any one can resolve the same.
