Can we change the dimensions of the application in web-browser directly

Hi all,

I'm using Qlikview server version, i am opening the applications in web-browser.

Now can i change the properties or expression or dimension,.. of the application in the web-browser directly.

Is it possible ?

Hi,

Yes, if you have given access to see the property of the object you can change the dimension.

But you cannot save the changes.

When you are in IE plugin view, you cannot see the object property. Where as, in AJAX ZFC you can see the property of the object provided you have given access.

If you're given permissions, you can create your own sheets and objects, which are "saved".

I checked this in my server.

The user cannot modify the existing object dimension.

But he can modify the object which is created in server.

I will confirm and update you tomorrow.

How can i know that whether i had permissions to create and delete objects in web-browser.

If permissions are not allowed, how can i get the make permission allowed.
