Can you filter the data in a large qvw file and save it locally

Hi,

Currently my Qlikview model is 16 GB.

Is there a way for the user to download a subset of the data to his local machine so that he can take it offline to use.

Is it possible for a user to view a .qwv on his iPad.

Any assistance will  be greatly appreciated.

Hi Abdur,

In general, it's possible to use QlikView on iPads. I don't have much experience with it since iPads are not supported by our IT and as such they are not too commonplace here.

I guess you mean the BINARY LOAD? That cannot be limited unfortunately - you have to download the whole thing. Then of course you can throw out whatever you don't need.

=> An alternative might be to have another little app inbetween to do just that and then provide a smaller DataModel to load BINARY.

It's also possible to download from AccessPoint, but I'm not sure how.
