Canonical Date - What if one of the tables doesn't have a link field

Hi Guys,

Canonical Date - What if one of the tables doesn't have a link field, I've got four separate tables with dates and all linked via a UserID, and I can create the Data link table, but I have Budget data which doesn't have UserID, how do I link that to the Canonical date table? as I'm not getting the correct figures for actual and budget in the same table, if I use actual year, my budget figures are wrong and vice versa, I've tried Canonical but that doesn't work because Budget doesn't have UserID firld.

Thanks

Is the budget number influenced by UserID? I think they would, but you would have a better idea then me. If they do not, then may be try creating your own link field using RowNo() as Key and see if that helps
