Change Colors of Columns in Column Chart

Hi Everyone,

I have two categories say A and B. and I want Column A to have Orange color and Column B to have green color. I need to understand How to change the default color seetings.

Hi Mark,

This is how I am following your steps,

Right Click On chart-> Properties->Colors tab -> Check Persistent Colors -> Now I am trying to click on 3rd colors in data appearance and then applying ok on changes..Nothing is happening Please suggest me next steps.
