Change Password after login in to the application

Hi there,

I am using the QlikView 10.0 SR1 and the Oracle database.

I've used the serial access and serial application to give access to the users for their application. Now the users want to change their password when they login in to the application.

Is there a flexibility for the users to change the password in the running application??

Hi,

It is not possible to change the section access passwords - or anything else in the section access - without running the script. As you might be reading your section access data from an external data source, QlikView would have to write back the changed values to the external source as well.

What I understood from your reply that if user try to change password then one has to reload script to apply the effects. Am I right??

If yes then is there any method that users can change their passwords.
