Change server error message

Hi Guys,

is there a possibility to change server error message?

Case:

We wan to switch accespoint to https instead  of http. It means that when users have bookmarks saved for http then they will stop work and users will be given 404 server error. We were thinking if  there is a possibility to change error message and somehow let users know that they should be using new link now?

Thanks in advance

I would recommend at least using the Custom System Message function available in the QMC under System > Setup > Qlikview Web Servers > Accesspoint > Accesspoint Settings.  Use a message that'll alert users to make sure they're accessing your Accesspoint using the correct link.  You could also automatically forward the URL from your HTTP to HTTPS URL so users can't access the HTTP site anymore, assuming you want all users to be directed to the HTTPS site.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,
Josh
