Chart Representation

Hi Guys,

I am attaching this Example? I already posted and got this solution but it gives me " out of memory Problem". I think Qlikview multiplies the Dimension with each expression or something else and it gets stucks. The calculation time is increased from few seconds to a minute and my PC gets hanged. May be someone has any new ideas to get the same Display as in the attached Application.

Thanks

Sravan

@ Sathish

That would have been easy but for the customer, he wants it to be displayed only at the right side. That is why I added it also like a Dimension and blindet it off to show it only in the Rightside in the expression. But if I do this this Memory problem is coming. Any other ideas to get it displayed on the rightside will be appreciated.

Hi Sravan

Is there a good reason why you are using a Pivot Table for this?

I don't think there is any way to place a dimension on the right side of a pivot table, however, you can move a dimension to the right side when it is in the format of a straight table (just produce the table, then manually move the dimension to the right side).

I'm also not sure why including the last name as an expression would cause an object out of memory error, but on the other hand I'm not too surprised that it does this, expressions really should be used only for measures against dimensions.

Hi Nigel,

The only reason why I use Pivottable is that I have to have the Dimensions appearing only once as in the given example if there are corresponding many Workers in the righthand side. It can be done only with a pivot table. when I use the straighttable, I get a entry corresponding to every worker. They have to grouped together if they are having the Same Organisation as in the Example.

Thanks for the reply
