I'm a bit baffled that this is not possible, maybe I oversee something.
The topic name really says everything. I have a straight table chart on which I like to show the "Others" row, but do not want to show the "Total" row. I can set all expressions to "No Totals", but then the "Others" row is shown without values.

This Can be done in Properties > Expression.
Now select you field or Measure. and do "NO Total " under Total option available on right hand side.
In this way it wont show total at last.
Please revert back if it works .

I suggest: "Chart Properties"-> the "Dimension Limits" tab -> D-check "Show Total" in the "Options" Section below.
