Hi,

     If no effect in the chart means, simply detached it.. or change the alternate state if using qv-11 means..

     or use

sum({1} Sales)

or only some list boxes means,

use Expression like

sum({<Year =, Month=>} Sales)

Hope it helps

Thanks & Regards, Mayil Vahanan R

Yes, it's fairly simple to do. Right-click on the chart in question, and just under "Properties", you'll see "Detach". If you click on that, the chart now stands alone, and is not affected by ANY changes you make in list boxes OR your data.

If your chart is in a container with other charts, you have to activate the specific chart you want to detach by clicking on it, and then click "Detach". Your chart title will now display "Chart Name (detached)". Selections on list boxes will still affect all the other charts in your container, but the detached chart will be static.

If you wish to update the detached chart at a later time, you can again right-click on it, and select "Attach" from the menu. This lets you update the chart's data and selections as needed, and you can then detach it again if you wish.
