Clear one selected field value based on variable selection

Hi all,

I have one variable: vVar=only({State_1}Version) . I just need, every time, when the variable value will change, that will clear all existing selections for 'Version' field under default state.

I tried 'Document Properties' => Triggers => Variable Event Triggers .....but somehow that didn't work.

Could anyone please help me out...
