Everytime a user opens the document using the IE plugin, it opens with the Collaboration window/pane, how do i disable that? and whats the use of that?
Users that create their own objects or bookmarks in the QV client use collaboration to share what they've created with other users.
I would assume that if you closed IE explorer after having closed the collaboration pane, the collaboration pane would stop appearing the next time you enter into QlikView, but this is not the case?
The toolbar is an OCX object so you can't modify it (at least easily). But if you want to remove the toolbar altogether, see this post: http://community.qlik.com/forums/p/24388/93224.aspx#93224. You can then add buttons inside your document to reinstate the functionality of the buttons that were lost.
