Colors

The default colors in Qlikview seem to be very similar and it makes it hard to interpret charts.  many of my charts need to use upwards of 15 colors and they seem to blend.

There are no real deep reds or blues and a lot of yellows, grays and pastels.  Is there a different pallet that can be used without individually saving each color as a new one?

Ruben is on the right track with things, and I am not aware of any other color schemes, you could create your own Theme though I believe such that you should not have to redo things all the time.  Here are some Design Blog posts on color that may be of some further help:

Hi, I dont' know if you can select another color scheme by default but it's not htat hard to change all colors to the ones you want to use.

You can copy them otther objects or documents using templates (in layout tab) or using the advancesd button in the colors tab.

You can also use variables to set each color and use an external file to set the colors, so you can easily change schema colors for any document.

Thanks for the reply.  Yes I know I can manually adjust the colors and the orders, I was just hoping there was another theme, or color scheme I could use rather than adjust 15+ RGB codes.  I was unsure if there were different themes loaded in QlikView since the colors used seem so similar and to ignore much of the available color palette.

Hi,not that I know, just the default color schema.

If you google for 'color palette' you can find different tools to create your own palette, and using variables, and an external file to load color you can easily switch color from one palette to another.

So you can have a file with content like

LET vColor1 =RGB(...);

LET vColor2 =RGB(...);

Load the file using include entence: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/qlikview/April2020/Subsystems/Client/Content/QV_QlikView/Scripting/Syste...

And configure colors like:
