Hi all,
I am having some troubles to combine multiple variables into one.
Recently, the way data is stored in our database has changed. What used to be stored as PROPERTY_DESCRIPTION it is now stored as LABEL. Both have a PROPERTY_VALUE allocated.
I am loading all the information correctly into my dashboard and I can present it with three columns where each PROPERTY_VALUE will have an allocated description looking like below (LOAD Statement and Table on Dashboard).
LOAD PROPERTY_NAME,
PROPERTY_VALUE,
LABEL
FROM
(qvd);
PROPERTY_DESCRIPTION | PROPERTY_VALUE | LABEL |
---|---|---|
PROPERTY_DESCRIPTION A | VALUE A | - |
PROPERTY_DESCRIPTION B | VALUE B | - |
- | VALUE C | LABEL C |
- | VALUE D | LABEL D |
Is there a possibility I can combine PROPERTY_DESCRIPTION and LABEL into a single variable, for example DESCRIPTION so it shows the table like the next one?
DESCRIPTION | PROPERTY_VALUE |
---|---|
PROPERTY_DESCRIPTION A | VALUE A |
PROPERTY_DESCRIPTION B | VALUE B |
LABEL C | VALUE C |
LABEL D | VALUE D |
Can anyone point me on the right direction?
Thank you.
May be like this
LOAD If(Len(Trim(PROPERTY_NAME)) = 0, LABEL, PROPERTY_NAME) as PROPERTY_NAME,
PROPERTY_VALUE
FROM
(qvd);
May be like this
LOAD If(Len(Trim(PROPERTY_NAME)) = 0, LABEL, PROPERTY_NAME) as PROPERTY_NAME,
PROPERTY_VALUE
FROM
(qvd);
It has work perfectly.
Thank you very much for your help.
