Check out the "What's New in QlikView11.qvw" that comes with the QlikView installation.  You can find Comparative Analysis used on the Product Grouping tab.

From the help text in the .qvw:

"Using a new feature called Comparative Analysis, you can create multiple selection states.

In this example, you can make selections from Group 1 and Group 2 and compare them side by side.

You can also incorporate other selected fields by specifying them in expressions.  See the expression in the chart for more details."

Using Compartive Analysis you can compare two sets of dimensions Group A & Group B . For example if  your company is selling x product with y brands , then what are the other companies who are selling x and y brands comparison between two sets.

Attaching technical document on Compartive Analysis to give more clarity.

Hope this helps you , Good Luck.

Using Comperative analysis you can create two group of dimensions. To create this you have to create two alternate states and then inherite these states in your listboxes. Using set analysis you can compare two companies sales, let say you are going to compare sales of two companies.

Hope this helps you.
