Hi,
I need to connect Qlikview with Oracle server
I do not have Oracle installed on my system, please suggest how to connect
1) You want to connect other server Thru RDC?
2) Then only you can get the data from there, if you have the access of that.
I have qlikview installed on my system
I want to create DSN to connect with Oracle server
Install the Oracle Client on your Qlikview machine and make sure to install the odbc and/or oledb drivers. Then edit the tnsnames.ora file and add an entry for the listener of your oracle database. That is necessary so the odbc and/or oledb drivers can find the listener of your oracle database on the network and communicate with it. If you're going to use odbc then you need to define an odbc connection too using the odbc administration tool. All this is totally unrelated to Qlikview. If you don't understand what I've written above then ask your local friendly oracle database administrator or search the internet for more detailed instructions.
Is there a way to do it without installing oracle client
Use the Microsoft ODBC for Oracle driver
getting attached error
Install the requirement software components
