Connection To Data warehouse

Hi All,

I'm in planning stage where i want to retrieve data from the data warehouse (not sure what DBMS) and come accross with the following questions.

#1. can qlikview access the data warehouse for sources?

#2. can it UPDATE data warehouse tables?

Any thoughts or suggestions will greatly appreciated!

#1: as long as you have the odbc or oledb driver or the third party connectors to establish a connection from QlikView to DWH, QV can load data.

#2: QlikView can write back to DB (extensions or macros can help in this case) But this would be suggested only for columns like user comments and not for the actual transaction values.
