Connection to multiple databases(SQL server & Oracle database)

Hi All,

Is it possible to get the data from two tables which are available in different databases i.e one is SQL server and one is oracle database.

I have some old data in the SQL server and new data in the oracle database and have show all the data in the Qlikview dashboard.

What is the best way to manage in this situation. Can i move all my data from SQL server to Oracle database or shall i keep old data in the SQL server and get the new data from oracle database.

Thank you.

Regards,

Viresh

Hi,

I think you need to collect all the data in QlikView  "as it is". Connect sequentially in the script code to your two databases and load the necessary data.

Off course, There is no limit to achieve this?

And, My preference is always, First load one server data and store it into QVD then load second connection from another source. Same way we can do
