Console Reload

Hi,

do I necessarily need a client installtion to do a reload via console.
I know this sound weird, but is it possible to do a reload with a server installation (qvs exe,..) ?

you can do it using qvb.exe.

qvb.exe is the batch automatically loaded by QVS during reloads tasks.

However it is possible to create a batch with qvb.exe.

But In some cases it is better (in my opinion) to install a QV developper on the server and use an external task, because using QV.Exe you can visually debug an application...

is it the same syntax as with qv.exe? e.g qvb.exe /r test.qvw?

doesn't seem to work 😞

There is an existing topic with the syntax, honestly i don't know the syntax but you can find it on the forum or in the Qlikview publisher user guide.
