Container Object Issue

Hi,

On the dashboard, i have to show a container object, in which there would be two charts which would be conditionally shown one on top of the other based on the field value selection.

But the issue is when i make any selection from the filter, then the size of the chart in the container shrinks and we have to manually resize the chart everytime.

Hi,

take a look the attached qvw - the blue button changes which chart is shown. You can apply the same logic to your case.

Is it a limitation of container then?

Can't we conditionally display two charts one on top of the other in a container based on the field value selection?

I don't think you can do this within containers.

Try with two separate containers, each with a different chart/s inside, placed on top of each other. Then either use a variable and conditional show (as in my example) or Field Event Triggers with Activate Object.

Hi

It might be the container bug. There is a bug in the latest version of QV when you use a container within the other container it is not shown properly.

Cheers

Hello,

this bug is solved in SR9 (tested with the beta version) and I hope the release is coming soon because we often use container within an other container.

Regards

Peter
