Container object and iPad

Hi,

Has anyone got the new QV10 Container object working with their iPads/iPhone's yet? It just doesn't seem to handle them at all? Is there something coming / out there to resolve this problem?

I'm using version 4.0.2 of the Qlikview mobile interface.

Thanks

Nick

Hi

Did you ever make progress on this. I'm using v 4.0.3 but container objects (or buttons)  don't work at all.

I've read documentation which suggests the use of both in iPad apps to make best use of screen size.

Hi Richard,

I spoke to the support team about this.  They strongly recommended that we move to the full, AJAX-powered Access Point rather than trying to use the Qlikview App.

From what they were saying, I believe the App is going to be phased out with the view of mobile devices using the full AJAX version.

On the iPad, this does work really nicely!

Good luck!

Nick

Hi Nick

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Yes, I agree AccessPoint is very nice on the iPad, but I have had less success on the iPhone.

Maybe I will give it another try

Don't use the iPhone App... Support most likely will be stopped soon. If you want to analyze QlikView data on your iPhone, just wait for Version 11 to be published. Version 11 (actually the server) also supports smartphones.
