Controlling printing

Hello,

I have few reports and when I print them they appear in new browser window

I need to add there few buttons like Print (this need to print report) and Cancel (this should close window)

I thought I can add them as Extension object and write some JavaScript functions but other issue appeared - I cannot print Extension object

Any ideas are highly appreciated
