Convert text to Date

I have the field MONTH_REF with value "01 - Januery", how i can convert this for month?

Month(Date#(Trim(Subfield('01 - January', '-', 1)) ,'M') )

Month(Date#(Trim(Subfield(MONTH_REF , '-', 1)) ,'M') )

Date(Date#(Left(MONTH_REF,2), 'MM'), 'MMM')
