Hello,

I have requirement to convert the values of a particular column as column headers.

In my sample date - I want to convert the values of 'PROFICIENCY' column as individual column headers.

Please find attached sample source date and the required output.

Objective of the requirement - find out an employees secondary/Tertiary skills based on primary skill.

Thank you!!!

dear Surest,

Just copy paste your expression to Label input box for selection in your Dimension.

If you want to show total of all values in column

then add Total keyword into your expression

=Sum(Total Measure)

Simply use a pivot table to display the data. See attached qvw

Hello,

the requirement is not for showing up the total. Could you please check the attachments?

I have the both source and the output files, thanks

Hello,

Thanks for the response.

I too tried that, but we cant look at an employees secondary/Tertiary skills when you make a selection on any primary skills.

on you example. Please create a list box for Skill group and make a selection.

I believe having 3 filters one for Primary with Primary skills, secondary with secondary skills and Tertiary with Tertiary skills would help us achieve this.

Thanks

Cool, That's right. Splitting the data and merging it would be the right thing to do. Thank you!!!
