Copy data from server to server

Hi Experts,

Could you please suggest me how to copy data from one server to another server thorough the help of

qvw file or else any new way?

It will really appriciate if this happen.

Data means QVD,EXCEL,CSV,TXT etc.

I want to transfer/copy data files into one server location to another server location.

go to server copy those QVD ,Excel ,CSV,TXT and paste it in another server

Not like this. i want to write a code in QVW and when i execute this code on server level reloading that time it will automatically copy file on one server to another server.

it means like Batch file, execute command.copy command etc.

If you use the EXECUTE statement in a QlikView Load Script you can perform batch-files (.bat, .cmd, PowerShell, Vbscript) or other programs on the server. Make sure that the service account on Windows that is executing the Load Script and hence will execute these programs has the necessary rights to do so.

There are many free utilities to either sync directories across machines (SyncBack) or just plainly copy a lot of huge QVD's as fast as possible (FastCopy, RoboCopy). Search the net for a tool that matches your expectations.

If you got a Publisher, you can schedule copy operations as Supporting Tasks just like a document reload. But you won't need a separate QVW document to do something which it isn't intended to do well...
