Hi All,
I have a Qlikview App that tracks code files, I want to use a macro to copy the file I have selected to another folder.
At the moment I can delete the file, open the file or Open the Directory.
I want to copy the 1 file I have selected and place the copied file in another folder
I have copied files before from the script, but I need to have a button option to run a macro and copy the file based on the [Full Path] I have selected
Thanks
Alan
Hi Pawel,
I will try this too, I have checked options 1,2 and 3 of your earlier suggestion and they all work fine
1.I have accessibility
2.I added the Full Path to a Text Object and it displays
3.I added the path to Windows explorer and it opened fine
Regards
Alan
Thanks Pawel,
If I replace "Full Path" with "P:\customer code\Form.jpg" it works fine and If I add Full Path to a text object it also reads
"P:\customer code\Form.jpg" but yet it can't find it
I have a Table with 40000 files, and when I select one file only, I have a conditional show button to run the macro to copy the selected file to a new location.
I don't want to have to copy and paste the filename into the macro each time I would like to copy it, I need it to pick up the Full Path of the file I have selected
Regards
Alan
