Count the no. Of distinct cases in a particular year

Hi, I want to know the no. Of distinct cases for a particular year. How do I improve on the following expression as it doesn't give me distinct values: count({$<［case creation date.autocalendar.yearmonth]={‘2018-Feb'}>}[case no.])
