Creating a ppt with QlikView's functionality

Hi,

I think I remember that it is possible to export objects (charts) to ppt, maintaining QlikView's functionality - so that objects and buttons can be clicked in the ppt presentation, given a QlikView_client is installed - right? I don't remember the details anymore.

That would be really cool - I have just done an analysis which I am likely going to do every month from now on, and I need some way to always present the results.

Thanks a lot!

Best regards,

Hi Friedrich,

I remember we made tests of this functionality you comment. I think you should install QV Plugin and during the PPT presentation time you had to have the app opened in client.

Hope it serves.

Regard,
H

Hi Héctor,

I think you're right. But I'm going to do it differently now: That presentation was to be part of an analysis I have done on one month's invoices. It's likely I'll have to do this analysis in intervals now - for every month - and it's important that I can do it relatively fast and the presentation can be passed on to our business_partner. So I'll just have a number of slides in my app with just one pie_chart each, relatively simple, so that I can easily copy the objects to a ppt presentation.

Thanks a lot!

Hi Friedrich,

OK, anyway you can take a look to some macro to do the boring work for you (export snapshots to de PPT). It works really fine and I think is a good solution (macro) if you donot have NPrinting.
