If you want to define standard object colors and graphical properties, create or use a Template file. Every desktop installation includes a few examples.

If you want to create a User-Interface layout with headers and backgrounds and all (sort of Visual Identity), you can use the XML Layout export/import. Start with a new document and create the layout. Export it to XML. Whenever you start a new document, import the XML Layout first.

If you want to import a layout with QlikView objects and all, that will be pretty difficult. UI data objects like list boxes, containers and charts are closely tied to the underlying data model. Copying one set of objects to a different data model or to a document without a data model will only get you massive amounts of work. In that case, just start with an existing document (there are one or two floating around on the community or visit the QLikView demo site to download example qvw documents).

Good luck,

Peter
