Custom Layer for objects (set in Layout menu) is being auto-reset. How can I prevent this?!
I have several objects (most of which have conditional show / hide and are on top of each other) which need to be layered so as to not cover one another but be visible as needed. I have set Custom Layer for each object in the Layout menu. However, these values appear to be resetting to Bottom, Normal, etc. This is causing havoc in the application!
Is there a way to prevent the Custom Layers from being reset? Or, is there something that will reset these custom layers, like a Load without data or a Reduce Data, Save As, or something?
I noticed that this only happens for me if I pick a value greater than 100 or less than -100. I guess they don't picture someone having 200 objects on the screen.
I like putting stuff on layer 100 or layer 1000 to help me separate my objects.
