If you are using the QlikView Webserver you can do this in the QEMC under settings and the webserver setting. Go to the "Web" tab and under name the first line is Default "QlikView". In the screen shot below I have changed it to BILLBOB. Now I would go to http://localhost/BILLBOB to get to the accesspoint. If you are using IIS you will have to rename the QlikView virtual folder.

Thanks bbt.

I have changed it.But still i need to do few more things. I have already posted the Question but still am not able to fix it.

As of now when i am trying to access the url it is prompting for user name and password.Current authentication mode is Windows authentication. And i am using the Qlikview Webserver.

Now i need to setup the access point in the following way. User will be logging in to our existing portal and then access the QlikView access point.Hence when user clicked on the access point it should not prompt for user name and password. It should behave like single sign on.Also only the Qvw files assigned to him should get listed.

Hi Bill,

I tried this for a customer using QV 11.20 SR6, single server installation of SBE with QVWS web server, but having IIS installed in parallel (if that does matter), and using alternate login page in authentication tab.

I changed the path in Web tab as indicated but it seems QVWS founds the index.html in the new folder, but is searching formlogin.html in the QLIKVIEW folder, thus creating an error.

Is there any other place I need to adapt?

Is it possible to change the portion where the local host or machine name appears?

http://localhost/qlikview/index.htm
