Cycling group button of expressions disappears

Hi,

Please see my attached QVW file - where the problem is explained.

The cyclic group button disappears in some layouts in pivot tables. I've made an easy example i QVW...

Please help me find a solution.

I'm on QlikView version 11.20 SR 16.

Try to avoid cyclic buttons in pivot (it is also a bit contradicting with the principle of a pivot) and expand the required dimensions instead

Sorry, but I don't agree.

Why would it work in a pivot table with vertical alignment of the dimension but not in horizontal position.

And I have no problem that the pivot will change when showing another expression, it always does.

may be there are limitations of expression grouping when doing horizontal pivoting, but you can do the work around like in attached file

Probably I will the solution below instead, with a hoizontal pivot table, cyclic group for dimension and conditional expressions over a few variables:

Yeah, this will also work. But that will require a lot of settings to do if new expression needs to be added in cylic.
