Hi,

Can we change the format of the data exported in excel, so that it is easier to convert to charts.

Please guide me..

As per my knowledge I think The export to excel exports only data. to export visualization you may use.

1. a macro or

2. print object feature or

3. copy to clipboard and paste at the destination

When you export to excel (directly from qlik,  without any tool I mean) you cannot decide the format, probably you could with a macro but it is better not to use macro because macros will be no more supported in the future

Hi,

Before exporting give proper formatting in Format tab of charts, so that the data format is exported correctly like date, integer, Floating numbers etc.  If you didn't specify the format then when exporting the data results in unexpected results.
