Data Size

what is the maximum size of data we handle in real time projects?

depends on your application I guess. I have seen applications with 1,5 billion rows and Qlik has demonstrated recently a 50 billion rows app.

Depends on number of fields, type, data model etc. etc.

You may process quite a few bytes in real-time monitoring, but we handle 0 bytes in real-time projects.

QV is not particularly well suited for real-time monitoring of operational data. There is always a sync-now, or sync-then phase involved, causing delays of a few to quite a lot clock ticks.

Can you provide a bit more detail?

Data size is whatever - welcome to the world of "Big Data".

In the book "Mastering QlikView", I read that recent implementations support up to 256 TB - however much your server can handle in RAM and how much it can process in an acceptable timeframe (how many cores it has etc.)

In real-time projects - that depends entirely on the type of project ...
