Data access to "non-related" data with Section Access

Hi,

I'm currently setting up Section Access for a new application, and have some questions regarding how to see "non-related" data.

My application contains data from several of our companies and I want to limit access pr. company. My application contains a Fact table with several dimensions (like Customer, Company and Products) related to this fact table.

I have set up my section access, so the user are being given access to a company, which then limits which fact they can see. This is working fine, so no problems so far.

Since my dimensions (e.g. Customer and Product) are now limited to show only records that have an entry in the Fact table, how do I then manage to show Products that no one still haven't bought, meaning they have no entries in the Fact table?

I have no problems in setting up Section Access for the Products (I also have a "company" field then there), but I don't know if there is a way I can "de-couple" them from being limited by the Fact table.

The same problem applies to my customers as well, where I'd also like to see customers that haven't bought anything i.e. isn't represented in my fact.

I was thinking about doing a kind of a "dummy" load of Product and Customer keys into the fact table so I get the Customer_Key and Product_Key in there at least once, but maybe there are other ways around it?

Regards

Steen
