Hello, We are developing an application which requires updating data into model each 5 min We have created some tasks on a server which update data (documents in Surce Documents folder) and replace main document in the Documents folder The issues is that we have some default settings (like we show some objects and rest are hidden or reporting period is set to last month) when access document in Ajax mode. These default settings are stored in variables. If I unhide some object and work with it and document refresh happens, I'm automatically referred to default view. I'm interested in following: 1. If simple replacing document on the server with new one document which contain new data is the correct way how data update works in QlikView to supply near real-time update of the application? 2. Is storing default settings in variables correct in case we need data update in document each 5 mins? Any suggestions are highly appreciated Thanks Volo
