Data selection problem

Hi Team,

I am facing an issue in my application,Can anybody help me please....

Issue is when i am selecting excluded values in one filter, selections in all filter are clearing.

Can anybody help

This may happen because corresponding to excluded values there are no possible values for other fields in filters.

Hi,

That is the power of green, gray and white. The selections cleared out is outside your current selections. 

What you might want to consider are ALTERNATE STATE or Set analysis. Is there a sample file you can upload?

Can i keep my selections in other filters and display message saying like the selected employee has no data

Yes, if it's a chart, check error message on General tab.

Hi,

yes you can keep the error message on the chart.

Go to chart properties - general -> Error Messages -> Calculation condition unfulfilled -> then enter the calculated message in the custom message box

you can use objects to display messages or a text box (that you can hide and show) with your message
