Hi,

I am new to qlik view i just wants to know it is possible to load tables from a Sql backup file to Qlik View, without restoring the file in Sql server or MSDN.

Most probably you need to restore the backups.

Hello,

I don't know of any driver that alows to do that. But if you have a MDF file (from MS SQL Server), the OLE DB let's you choose between a running server or the file. You have to add the server and user/password anyway.

Hello,

I'm also new to qlikview. I need to connect my database (SQL Server) to qlikview but I'm not sure how to start. As per what a friend taught me, I'll be using  the OLE DB. After connecting it, I'm not sure what's the next step.. Please help.
