Hi. I'm working on a straight table where I want to display only the rows with a minimum time for the day (grouped on day, user and type) which I believe I would do with a calculated dimension, and then have a measure that counts all the rows for that day (again grouped on day, user and type). These specs are vague, I realize, but as I'm researching ways to do this, I am reading about Min, FirstSortedValue, and even Rank functions and I'm trying to understand when to use which function as there seems to be some similarity in them. So my real reason for writing today is....Does anyone have a simplistic example that would show how these 3 functions are differ using one dataset so I can get a good understanding? Thanks.
