Dimensions & Facts ?

Hi All,

How to Split Dimensions & Facts, while doing Scripting for the Data Model..

consider that, I am having 20 tables i have to do linking..

Can any one explain me with Some Steps or give me some example for that.

Use transaction table as Fact tables and the master tables as the dimensional tables or use as dimensions. And follow the Star schema or the Snow flake schema for data model.
