Display sums by date dimension

HI,

I have a requirement to display countsfor last 10 days.  For example my date dimension would be currentdate through currenrtdate-10. I created a variable saying date dimension between currentdate and currentdate-10 and used the same in the set expression which is working fine.  I need to create another measure  showing MonthTo date for the same 10 days. I created a variable with date dimension between Monthstart of currentdate and currentdate and used in the set expression. However my date dimension values are not limiting to 10 meaning date dimension are populating from  1st day of the month to currentdate. Is there a way to still limit the dimension values to 10 days  in the charts. For example
