Document Chaining and the closure of previous tabs at access point

Dear Qlikview user

I am starting to do document chaining, but wanted to know if there is a way after a new application is launched at access point, the previous application which launched the document can get closed down automatically?

I have searched for appropriate answers but cannot find a solution which fits with my requirements

I.e. Within App 1 - There is a button the Launch App2, but once App2 is launched App1 is closed down

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Kind Regards

Helen

In the QMC, Select your App2 -> Documents --> User Documents list.

Navigate to Server --> Availability tab for that document, have only IE Client selected for Access Method

Note: Full browser is AJAX

Hi,

Try to enable the option "Open in same window". so that you don't need to close the App1. App2 will open in the same window.

Hello

Thank you for this suggestion. Although the concept works, it looks as though my App2 has been opened via Ajax client.  Is there a way for IE plug in to remain the same?

Kind Regards

Helen
