Does user require license to analyze dashboard to their local machine

Hi All,

If user download the qlikview dashboard from Access Point. Does user require any license to analyze/add objects to that dashboard.

Please give some information.

Hi,

Qlikview allows only 4 files(recoveries) to open in Qlikview desktop created by others.  After that Qlikview won't allow to open the files.  After 4 recoveries You need a valid license to open/update the file.

If the user has a named cal, it is possible to borrow a license from the server to open the file locally.

In order to borrow a license, the user just need to open a file from the server (file -> Open in server...)

This borrowed license will be allocated for 30 days but it is renew everytime the user opens something from the server.
