Don't automatically clear the selected conditions

   I use qv11,

  qv automatically clear the selected conditions ,for example:year（choose 2001），yearmonth（choose 200206,200207），qv will clear year field.

  I don't want to automatically clear the selected conditions .

  I can't find a way to set it ，

  Are there any other methods?

Hi,

In qlikview if you select new value which are contradict to previous selection then QV automatically clears previous contradict selections and makes new selection.

It is feature of QV.

and when you are  seelcting 2002 year months, then there is no sense of having year 2001 selected.

The default behavior is that new selections will remove incompatible previous selections. You can override this by using Lock. Lock the Year field after selecting 2001 and then selections in other Year-Months will not override.

2. Add Dimensions Year, Port.

3. Add Expression =sum(Amount)
