Drop down filter inside a pivot chart

Hi Team,

Is there any option to implement a drop down filter inside a pivot chart,Just like below screenshot.

Capture.JPG

If we selected a Year from the drop down filter from pivot chart ,based on the selection the next column values will change with respect to year selection...

Is there any option to implement this logic in Qlikview..

If it is not possible in QV. Please suggest some ideas to implement this in alternate way.

Thanks in advance..

Hi Anil,

Thanks for response,But I am using a indent mode pivot table and those years column(field) is giving in expression.

If I am not wrong,Drop down option is not possible for expressions in pivot table.

And also ,Drop down select option should come for each row wise.

How you are using Expression as Year, Why not as Dim. Can you describe more

Hi Anil,

Sure I will describe in detail,As I said earlier I am using indent mode pivot table to show hierarchy structure, so all my hierarchy dimensions will come in dimension and year some other details and all I am showing in expression.

Please find the screenshot.

In a same way like Name,Level,Qty, Year also will come in expression, but I want that in drop down as I said earlier in trail post.

Thanks in Advance.

Afaik, I don't think so whether it is possible. Hope some one can help us. I am not sure because this is not a column level and then you are asking for Row Level. But, Row Level is bit conflict identifier.

A dropdown-filter on an expression isn't possible but you use this expression within a calculated dimension - probably rather not within this table else within a listbox. See here what is meant: Calculated Dimensions.
